The AGRICYGEN project aims to establish a new infrastructure and build an Agricultural Genomics Centre of Excellence that will be multi-disciplinary in nature and use state-of-the-art equipment.


Our vision is that this Centre will serve the entire south-eastern Mediterranean region and will interact effectively with other similar centres around the world and with the agricultural and livestock industries. To achieve these objectives, the consortium is comprised of 7 organisations from 4 different countries (Cyprus, UK, France, Germany) and includes one public entity, three research organisations, one university and one private company representing a well-balanced complementarity.
